About Us
Trainer Deon Locke, a native of Australia , has been training horses for over 12 years. In February of 2006 he moved to Clinton Anderson's "Downunder Horsemanship" facility in Belle Center Ohio and began "Locke Performance Horses". Deon specializes in colt starting and training of 2 year old reining prospects and trains for reining futurity and derby events.
Deon's achievements include:
- 2002 Northern California Reined Cowhorse Association Jr. Reining Champion
- 2003 Australian (AQHA) Queensland Sr. & Jr. Reining Champion
- 2003 Equitana Asia Pacific Reining Masters 5 th Place
- 2005 NRHA Limited Open Futurity - 9 th place
- 2006 "The Tradition" Limited Open and Intermediate Open Co-Champion
- 2006 All American Quarter Horse Congress Limited Open Champion
- 2006 NRHA Intermediate Open Futurity finalist - 6 th place tie
- 2006 NRHA Limited Open Futurity - 3 rd place
